Happy Birthday to me

Yesterday was my 21st birthday so I thought that I’d commemorate the occasion by actually writing something on my blog. 

It was a pretty weird weekend. On Satuday we were supposed to go to Lazer Tag, here in Leicester but we got as far as the end of the street before we stopped at the underpass where Josie Long was performing with her Alternative Reality tour.

I’d never heard anything of this tour until we were passing by and were invited to sit by the stage where we could see better. We watched the show in an underpass, whilst sitting on a ledge on the side of an office building, shielding ourselves from the elements using bin liners. It was an experience, I must say.

My actual birthday, yesterday, was another experience in itself. The day started out great. My cousin surprised me with a birthday cake and a bottle of champagne! Once we were stuffed and merry, our plan was to go to one of those fish foot spa things in Leicester then go to Nandos for dinner. As we got to the Spa, they had just decided to close early for the day - so were turned away. Our alternate plan was to go bowling, but all of the alleys were fully booked until almost 7! Nandos was a sucess, but to top the day off, I got home and found that I couldn’t find my door keys. 

Typical.

Luckily my boyfriend has just thrown them into the boot of his car and forgotten about it, so that was the up-side of the day.
